No Additional Hardware

Cablecast Closed Captioning is available on Cablecast VIO and Cablecast Flex models running software version 7.4 or later.

Live Captioning

Cablecast Closed Captioning provides real-time transcription of audio from an event you are playing out to viewers live, such as a council meeting, sports game, studio show, or anything else you want to caption immediately as it happens.

File-Based Captioning

Offline captioning transcribes existing files on your Cablecast server. This can be enabled for existing shows on your server as well as new shows.

Custom Vocabularies

Augment this highly accurate automated transcription with a custom vocabulary of domain-specific words and phrases, or proper nouns you want Cablecast to recognize in your audio input.

Choose pay-as-you-go, buy blocks of minutes ahead of time, or both. Our service is designed to be flexible for your needs and budget. Pay-as-you-go pricing is 16 cents/minute $9.60/hour. Purchase blocks of 500 hours for 12 cents/minute ($3,500 total) or 1,000 hours for 10 cents/minute  ($6,200 total).
