New Power Strips for Rackmount Shelves

PACIFIC, MO — Lowell Manufacturing Company, a U.S. manufacturer of professional A/V products celebrating its 70^th year, released two new compact power strips that are designed to put power right where it’s needed in rack installations.

“The new power strip chassis measures just 12 inches long so it fits easily on the back of 19 inch wide rack shelves,” said Kathleen Lane, Marketing Communications Manager.

Model ACS-1506-WW has six (6) 15A NEMA outlets spaced to allow room for bulky power supplies, and a 6 ft. fixed power cord with NEMA 5-15P plug. Model ACS-1507 offers seven (7) 15A NEMA outlets in the same size chassis plus a detachable power cord with NEMA 5-15P plug. Both models feature circuit breaker protection.

The power strips and similar rack, power and audio products will be showcased at the upcoming InfoComm Show in Orlando—Booth 6260.
