INFOCOMM, LAS VEGAS, NV, June 13, 2012 — Lowell Manufacturing Company (booth C9723), a U.S. manufacturer of professional A/V Products currently celebrating its 65th anniversary, has introduced an updated version of its LH Series double re-entrant horn that features an improved frequency response and is IP66 rated for water- and dust-resistant operation when used in conjunction with the optional adaptors. Available in a 15W or 30W model, the LH Series is offered with a beige finish that allows it to blend into environments such as schools, recreational facilities, warehouses, distribution centers, parking facilities and commercial buildings.
Lowell’s LH horns incorporate a high efficiency compression driver for high intelligibility and are designed for clear voice paging and tone signaling applications in a variety of indoor and outdoor applications. Both models offer easy, two-wire connection using rear screw terminals and include a built-in, screwdriver-adjustable transformer for integration into 25V, 70V or 100V applications. The supplied swivel mounting bracket permits precise orientation.

Model LH-30TA (30W) operates within a frequency range of 411 Hz – 4.0 kHz (±6 dB) with a sensitivity of 118.1 dB log average (1W/1M) 138.8 dB maximum SPL. Calculations are based on power rating and measured sensitivity.
