Optoma’s laser projectors UHZ35ST, UHZ55 and UHZ66 joins WiSA Association growing roster of 4K UHD home theater projectors offering wireless, interoperable home theater experiences

SAN JOSE, Calif. (April 30, 2024) – WiSA Association, a subsidiary of WiSA Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: WISA), and Optoma, the nation’s leading 4K UHD and DLP® laser projection brand*, announced today that its UHZ35ST, UHZ55 and UHZ66 4K UHD laser projectors have received WiSA SoundSend Certification. The certification creates a benchmark for high quality audio experience and verifies projectors, TVs and other sources work flawlessly with the award-winning WiSA SoundSend wireless audio transmitter, as well as the anticipated WiSA SoundSend E launch.

The Association is witnessing a growing number of WiSA SoundSend-Certified TVs and projectors as the industry continues to focus on ways to bring immersive audio into homes in simple and efficient ways. Connecting a WiSA SoundSend to any of these projectors allows seamless and wireless connectivity with audio systems up to eight channels, including 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos. In addition, a SoundSend Certification assures Association members’ products will work seamlessly with future WiSA SoundSend versions.
